CAROLINE M HERRON, D.D.S., M.S.D. is board-certified in periodontology and dental implant surgery.
In addition to full-time private practice, she has achieved the rank of Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Washington where she has taught part-time in the graduate periodontal program since 2008.
Dr. Herron specializes in using the most up-to-date techniques in treating gum recession, gum disease and replacing missing teeth with dental implants.
Her research has been nationally published in the Journal of Periodontology and she has been nationally recognized by the American Academy of Periodontology for Outstanding Teaching and Mentoring in Periodontics.
Dr. Herron has been consistently chosen by her peers as one of the Top Dentists in Seattle Metropolitan Magazine (2012 - 2026).

With over 40 years of clinical practice in periodontics, Ellen is dedicated to providing high-quality evidence based care tailored to each patient's needs. As a proud graduate of the University of Washington’s dental hygiene program, her passion lies in medical-dental integration - educating patients on how oral health impacts whole-body wellness, to help improve overall health outcomes and lower healthcare costs.
With a strong background in science and her continued love of learning, you will often find her listening to educational podcasts, reading dental and science journals or researching various health related topics. She is our ‘go-to’ when we are considering new products or treatment applications in our hygiene department.
Ellen has an uncanny knack of making even the most anxious patient feel at ease and has developed many long-term relationships with her loyal & appreciative patients.

Anja has worked in private specialized periodontal practice over the past 3 decades, as a registered dental hygienist since 2013, and joining our team in 2019. Prior to this she was a surgical assistant at a periodontal office in Australia and a dental implant rep, giving her unique insight and clinical knowledge into the treatment of periodontal disease, dental implants and maintaining optimum oral health.
She has a true passion for periodontics, and particularly enjoys utilizing the latest technology with a focus on perioscopy, laser treatment and dental implant maintenance. As of 2026, she has over 10 000 hours of clinical perioscopy experience!
Her goal is to help patients achieve and maintain their best oral health with a real life ‘ daily doable’ approach. She has a gentle touch and aims to ease any dental fears patients may have.
Out of the practice, her biggest joys are watching her sons compete in competitive sports & all things ‘dogs’. You will know her operatory by the large print of her friendly German Shepherd Leila who makes many of her patients smile & enjoy some pseudo emotional dog support.

With a warm smile and a true passion for patient care, El has been a valued and familiar face at our office since joining the team in 2019. Over the years she has loved connecting with our wonderful patients and gaining a deep appreciation for the world of dentistry. That hands-on experience sparked a genuine calling ; El is currently pursuing her studies in dental hygiene, dedicating herself to helping patients achieve and maintain their healthiest, brightest smiles.
Whether she is assisting in the clinic or supporting your oral health journey, El’s dedication and friendly demeanor make her an integral part of our practice family!
A true Pacific Northwest local, El loves spending her free time exploring the great outdoors - especially on local hiking trails. When she isn't working, studying or hitting the trails, she enjoys spending time with her friends, family and beloved cat.

Carmen feels grateful to be part of a profession where she has the opportunity to help people feel more confident and comfortable with their smiles. As a dental assistant, one of the most rewarding parts of her job is being able to support patients through their treatment and help them feel at ease, especially those who may feel nervous or anxious about visiting the dentist.
She believes patience, compassion and a gentle approach can make a meaningful difference in a patient's experience.
Carmen has 5 years of experience in general dentistry prior to joining our team, which has given her a strong foundation, allowing her to work with a wide variety of patients and dental needs. She strives to be as efficient and attentive as possible, both for the doctor and most importantly, our patients. She takes pride in being a caring and dependable assistant and in creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard and supported.
She is passionate about continuing to learn and grow, both personally and professionally. Working in periodontics has given her the opportunity to expand her knowledge and skills while being part of a team that can truly make a difference in patients' lives.
Outside of the office, she is a proud mom of two daughters who are her biggest joy. She loves animals( ask her about her unique ‘pack’) and enjoys spending time with her family.

Sarah began her dental career in a periodontal office in 2012. She later ventured into oral surgery, gaining valuable experience along the way, and has happily found her way back to the world of periodontics 2025 when she joined our practice. She has a wealth of knowledge in surgical chairside assisting and post-operative care following all of the procedures performed in our office, and will happily answer any questions you may have.
Besides having such a strong and extensive surgical background, she enjoys connecting with our patients and making them feel comfortable and cared for with her easy banter and comforting demeanor. She thrives on being part of a team dedicated to providing excellent patient care.
Outside of our office her focus is her daughter and spending as much time as possible in the sunshine!

Razzia brings over 11 years of experience in the dental field, with a background spanning clinical assisting, patient care, and practice management. As our office manager she is deeply committed to ensuring every patient feels welcomed, cared for and at ease from the moment they walk through the door. She takes pride in creating a calm, organized and supportive environment where patient comfort always comes first.
Razzia has extensive knowledge in the complicated world of dental insurance and can guide you through treatment plans, billing questions and general guidelines.
She especially enjoys building genuine relationships with patients and helping to make each visit as comfortable, stress-free and seamless as possible.
Outside of the office Razzia enjoys staying active, exploring the outdoors, trying new restaurants and spending time with her cats.

Ilse is a bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish) healthcare professional with a background in medical assisting, dental care and patient support, She began her healthcare career as a CNA and later earned her degree in medical assisting in 2020. With experience in both medical and dental settings, which includes specialized orthodontic and periodontal practice, she is passionate about providing compassionate, attentive care and helping patients feel comfortable throughout their experience.
Away from work Ilse has lots of hobbies including painting, hiking, going to the gym and spending time with her family and friends.
